About The Position

MedElite is a fast-growing healthcare organization focused on delivering high-quality, value-based care across post-acute and long-term care settings. We partner with providers to improve outcomes, drive operational efficiency, and scale care delivery in complex, highly regulated environments. As we expand our provider network, we operate within a landscape defined by state-specific licensing requirements, evolving regulatory standards, and operational complexity — making effective onboarding and integration critical to success. We are seeking a first-year MBA student with prior management consulting experience to join MedElite for a summer internship focused on provider operations, onboarding, and strategic scalability. This role is structured as an internal consulting engagement. You will work closely with the Product Lead and CFO, operating with a high degree of independence and treating MedElite as your client. You will be responsible for evaluating and improving how providers are onboarded, integrated, and supported within a complex system with many moving parts, including compliance, licensing, workflows, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

  • Current first-year MBA student (required)
  • Prior experience in management consulting (required)
  • Exceptional PowerPoint and communication skills — ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear, compelling narratives
  • Strong structured problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience or interest in operations, onboarding, people strategy, or healthcare systems
  • Comfort working within complex, regulated environments with multiple stakeholders and constraints
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Create clear, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Assess and redesign the end-to-end provider onboarding process, from contracting through go-live
  • Navigate and incorporate state licensing requirements, regulatory constraints, and compliance considerations into onboarding workflows
  • Identify operational bottlenecks across product, clinical, and administrative systems
  • Develop structured, actionable recommendations to improve onboarding speed, quality, and provider experience
  • Build frameworks and processes to support a rapidly scaling provider network
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, and clinical teams
  • Present findings directly to senior leadership and drive alignment
