Mayo Clinic Patient Shuttle Driver Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently on a dedicated route in the city of Rochester.
Requirements
- CDL
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in shuttle driving, van driving, or bus driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Experience operating motor coaches or similar vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Shuttles run 5 days a week 7 hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and passenger needs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in managing passenger flow during peak times to ensure timely departures.
