About The Position

The Operator from Matrix will oversee the complete function of Line during each production run. He/She will be responsible for set up and monitoring all machine and equipment, adjust and verify all controls according to requirements. Responsible for ensuring staff break times in accordance to company policy. Responsible for the complete set-up, tear down, washing, cleaning and sanitizing of all machines and equipment. Ensures that all supplies needed are available before, and during each production run. Ensures all production documents and records are properly and accurately completed. Performs all these activities in compliance with companys personnel safety, food safety, food defense and food quality systems. Essential Functions and Responsibilities As a Matrix Line machine Operator, you will be working in hard packing area, from set up of machine, to stacking. Adjust and verifies all controls are set according to requirements. Perform all these activities in compliance with companys personnel safety, food safety and food quality systems as well as 5s methodology. Requests product based on work order specification. Meets or exceeds established Production run rates and Quality process indicators. Maintains and records reports on work orders processed and quantities produced. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Must communicate with shift supervisor for production results and any unforeseen situations. Must be able to follow up and resolve issues that occur during each production run Communicates regularly with maintenance technicians to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues. Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunction within 15 min of down time.

Requirements

High School education
Experience in manufacturing
Ability to set up and monitor machine and equipment
Ability to adjust and verify controls
Ability to perform set-up, tear down, washing, cleaning and sanitizing of machines and equipment
Ability to ensure supplies are available
Ability to complete production documents and records accurately
Ability to perform activities in compliance with personnel safety, food safety, food defense and food quality systems
Ability to work in hard packing area
Ability to request product based on work order specification
Ability to meet or exceed production run rates and quality indicators
Ability to maintain and record reports
Ability to communicate with shift supervisor
Ability to follow up and resolve issues
