This course examines the core concepts of algebra and geometry, with a focus on the individual and interrelated elements, for the purpose of understanding their meaning, expression, and interaction. Therefore, course activities require clearly demonstrating an understanding of the meaning of these concepts with regards to secondary education in both verbal and written form. Requirements

Master’s in Mathematics OR Statistics OR Closely related field which requires calculus or above, or statistics coursework, such as Physics and Engineering
Candidates with a Master's degree in any discipline and 3-5 years of experience teaching high school or post-secondary applied mathematics may also be considered

PhD in Mathematics OR Statistics OR Closely related field with high school or post-secondary teaching experience

Responsibilities

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
