About The Position

Tutor students in person at the company's Raleigh, North Carolina center at 8111-117 Creedmoor Rd. Tutors follow the company's individualized lesson plans; they do not need to write lesson plans or hold parent meetings. Work hours are based on each tutor's schedule and availability, and tutors may work as many hours as they want. Compensation is hourly and based on experience and level. The company is seeking tutors across levels and grades, including math, ELA and grammar, elementary subjects, and SAT/ACT preparation.

Requirements

• Must have a college degree.
• Must love teaching and care about student improvement.
• Math tutors must be able to teach Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring to students using the company's individualized lesson plans.
• Teach math, including Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.
• Teach ELA and grammar to students in grades 9–12, including reading, writing, and grammar.
• Teach reading, writing, and math to students in grades 4–8.
• Teach phonics, reading readiness, and elementary math to students in grades K–3.
• Provide SAT and ACT tutoring.
