About The Position

Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is hiring math tutors for in-home and online tutoring positions across the East Valley. This role is for elementary math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and advanced high school math. It's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives without managing the business side of tutoring. Our mission is to help prepare today's youth to become tomorrow's successful adults.

Requirements

• Current college enrollment or a completed college degree.
• Strong knowledge of math through algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and/or calculus.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring assignments.
• A genuine passion for education and student success.

Nice To Haves

• Background as a teacher, education professional, or subject-matter expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and online math tutoring to students.
• Adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Build meaningful, long-term 1:1 relationships with students.
• Focus on helping students learn, grow, and build confidence.

• $20–$35 per hour base pay
• Up to $40 per hour for select students and specialized assignments
