About The Position

Think Zone, part of TAL Education Group, is hiring a part-time Math Tutor to provide personalized one-on-one math instruction to K–8 students at its learning center in San Jose, California. The role is designed for high school and college students, as well as people with a high school diploma, who enjoy helping children learn and want to build teaching, communication, and leadership experience. Tutors use Think Zone’s curriculum, materials, and resources; lesson planning is not required, and training and support are provided.

The position offers 6–12 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours. Tutors typically work 2–4 shifts per week around their school schedules. Saturday availability is strongly preferred. The program runs from June 2, 2026, through June 5, 2027, and pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. The role is based at Think Zone Learning Center, 1072 S De Anza Blvd A103, San Jose, CA 95129.

Requirements

• Be currently in high school and at least 16 years old, currently in college, or have a high school diploma.
