About The Position

Math Corps is seeking individuals to serve as Math Tutors at Middleton Middle School, focusing on students in grades 4-8. The role involves providing intensive math practice to small groups of students, typically 3 students for 20-30 minutes each session, every school day. Tutors will follow a structured schedule, help students transition between sessions, and encourage their growth and confidence. The program is designed to deliver proven activities, with training and ongoing coaching provided to tutors. The goal is to significantly improve students' math skills and future opportunities.

Requirements

• Dependable and have a history of good attendance
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
• 18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
