Part-Time 8th & 10th Grade Math Tutor (Naugatuck, CT)
About The Position
Study Smart is hiring a part-time Math Tutor to support 8th- and 10th-grade students in person in Naugatuck, Connecticut. The tutor will work with small and large groups, use information about class assignments, and adapt to new materials and teaching strategies. The role includes consistent communication with Study Smart staff and collaboration with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to students. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:25 AM to 12:50 PM EST. Tutors must hold a completed four-year degree and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired. Study Smart focuses on educational equity and access, culturally responsive academic support, and partnerships with students, families, educators, and communities.
