About The Position
At Mathnasium, the #1 math-only learning center (1,000+ locations), we help K-12 students catch up, keep up, and get ahead with personalized tutoring. Make math fun for up to 4 students at a time using the Socratic method and ready-made lessons. We offer flexible PM shifts (3–4 hrs, 2+ weekdays), which are perfect for students or professionals. This role includes paid training with a path to Lead Instructor or full-time employment. No lesson planning is required as our Curriculum Team builds every lesson.
Requirements
- Strong math skills through Algebra I (Geometry and higher preferred).
- Love working with children.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Availability for at least 2 weekday afternoons per week.

Responsibilities
- Teach Kindergarten through Pre-Calculus, and SAT/ACT math.
- Motivate students using real-world examples and track their progress.
- Team-teach with the Center Director.
