About The Position

Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math Teacher to provide high-quality instruction in a college preparatory, faith-centered learning environment. The Math Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, assessing student progress, and supporting the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of students. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong instructional practices, effective classroom management, and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field required.
Strong knowledge of mathematics content and instructional best practices.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
Commitment to academic excellence, student development, and Catholic education.
Successful completion of required background checks, Safe Environment training, and Archdiocesan requirements.

Nice To Haves

Valid teaching certification preferred.
Previous high school teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver rigorous mathematics instruction aligned with school, state, and Archdiocesan standards.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and achievement.
Teach assigned mathematics courses, which may include Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, or other courses as assigned.
Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
Utilize technology and instructional resources to enhance student learning.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school personnel regarding academic progress and concerns.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, parent conferences, and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and student success.
Integrate Catholic values into classroom instruction and daily interactions.
Support the mission and educational philosophy of Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School.
