About The Position

AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Part-Time Math Instructor to join their team. This role involves teaching an engaging, company-created curriculum designed for advanced students in small, collaborative classroom settings. The instructor will be responsible for actively involving students in learning, managing classrooms of up to 16 students, grading tests, providing feedback, and building relationships with students and families to foster a love for learning and critical thinking in mathematics.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Strong content knowledge in math.
Experience teaching or tutoring students.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Candidates must be located in Gaithersburg or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.

Responsibilities
