About The Position

Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers worldwide, providing math instruction to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it, using the Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of hands-on instruction since 2002. This role offers flexible, part-time hours with all work conducted at the Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development. We work with a variety of students across different grade levels.

Requirements

• Strong math proficiency through calculus.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
• Previous math teaching or tutoring experience is required.
• Desire to work through the entire school year is required.
• Must pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
• Provide work authorization.
• Successfully pass a Background Check.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach math to students in kindergarten through high school using the Mathnasium Method™.
