About The Position

Alma del Mar is a K-8 charter school with the mission to prepare scholars for college and to foster service-minded leadership through a demanding yet supportive, content-rich educational environment. The Math Specialist role involves planning and delivering effective math interventions both within and outside the general education classroom for students with IEPs requiring math support. The specialist will collaborate with curriculum area teachers and the academic support team to design instruction that enhances scholar learning and build strong relationships with Alma families. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or higher
  • At least one year of full time teaching experience preferred
  • Proven effectiveness leading students to significant academic gains (please include specific data related to your student's academic gains in your resume)
  • Massachusetts DESE Licensure in Special Education.
  • A passion for working with kids and a belief that all kids can succeed

Responsibilities
