About The Position

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time Math & Science Teacher to provide one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. This role focuses on tailoring lessons to individual student needs and learning styles, guiding students to mastery through a gradual release approach. The position offers a flexible schedule with no lesson planning, parent conferences, or extensive grading required, allowing teachers to concentrate on inspiring students. Brightmont Academy has been helping students achieve their full potential through personalized instruction since 1999, with 25 campuses across 10 states.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology, or a related subject.
• Patience and empathy, understanding that every student learns differently and commitment to supporting them.
• A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with the next generation.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.

Nice To Haves

• A teaching certification.

• Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
