About The Position

AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Math Instructor to inspire young minds in an engaging, collaborative classroom setting. This part-time role involves teaching a company-created curriculum designed for advanced students, actively engaging them in learning, and managing small classes of up to 16 students. The instructor will also be responsible for grading tests, providing feedback, and building relationships with students and families to foster a love for learning and critical thinking in mathematics.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Strong content knowledge in math.
  • Experience teaching or tutoring students.
  • Candidates must be located in Frisco, TX or the greater DFW area and must be able to commute to our campus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Unable to offer sponsorship, including STEM-OPT and H-1B.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
  • Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
  • A formal teaching credential is not required for this position.
