About The Position

Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center is seeking passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Math Instructors. This role involves teaching students from K-12th grade math in a way that makes sense to them, creating an exceptional learning experience. As an Instructor, you will create a welcoming environment, provide effective math instruction, motivate students, and assist in tracking their progress.

Requirements

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• Available at least 3 days a week (Mon-Thu 3PM- 7PM, Sat 9AM - 1PM)
• Math proficiency through at least algebra I (High School Math preferred)
• Provide work authorization
• Pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
