About The Position

Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers worldwide, dedicated to teaching math to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through the Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of instruction. This is a year-round position requiring a minimum 12-month commitment, offering flexible yet consistent part-time hours. All work is conducted at the Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development.

Requirements

• Strong math proficiency through calculus.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
• Desire to work through the entire school year is required.
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
• Provide work authorization.
• Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide math instruction to students in kindergarten through high school.
• Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
• Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center.
