About The Position

Join Our AoPS Academy as a Math Instructor! Are you passionate about math? Do you love inspiring young minds in an engaging, collaborative classroom setting? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently hiring instructors for the academic year 2026-2027. The Part-Time Instructor will teach engaging curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students, lead small classes, actively involve students in learning, manage up to 16 students, grade tests and provide feedback, connect with students and families, and inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in math.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Strong content knowledge in math.
Experience teaching or tutoring students.
Candidates must be located in Austin, TX or the surrounding area and must be able to commute to our campus.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Unable to offer sponsorship, including STEM-OPT and H-1B.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach Engaging Curriculum: Use company-created curriculum and materials designed for advanced students to lead small classes in math.
