About The Position
Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to teaching math to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through our proprietary Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of instruction. This role offers flexible, part-time hours within a Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for external work like grading or lesson planning. You will engage with a diverse range of students across various grade levels.
Requirements
- Strong math proficiency through calculus.
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Desire to work through the entire school year.
- Must pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
- Provide work authorization.
- Pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Teach math to students in kindergarten through high school using the Mathnasium Method™.
- Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
- Conduct all Mathnasium work at the Mathnasium Center, with no homework correction or lesson plan development required outside of the center.
