Math Instructor / Tutor
About The Position
Mathnasium of Moraga-Orinda is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Math Instructors/Tutors. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to impact K-12th grade students by teaching them math in a way that they understand, master, and love. The position provides consistent, part-time hours after school and on weekends, within a fun, supportive, and encouraging work culture. Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Willingness to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency
Responsibilities
- Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
