About The Position

Mathnasium of Sherman Oaks is a family-owned center deeply rooted in the community. We are looking for driven, motivated individuals eager to make a difference. This role offers a part-time job that builds your resume, sharpens teaching skills, and provides a positive work environment. Requirements

Genuine enthusiasm for math and for working with students of all ages.
Warmth and patience — parents and kids should feel at ease with you.
Math skills through at least Algebra I (Pre-Calc or Calculus opens more hours and higher pay).
Available 2–4 days per week, Sunday through Thursday — Sunday availability is a big plus!
Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months.
Comfortable with technology and digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

Teach students from TK through 12th grade using the Mathnasium Method™ — full training provided.
Work one-on-one or at a shared table with 3–4 students grouped by age, each at different points on their Math Journey.
Track student progress and adjust your approach to keep every student engaged.
Help maintain a safe, focused, and welcoming learning environment.
