About The Position

Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School is seeking a grade 7/8 Math and Science teacher to join their team at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in supporting students, have an unwavering belief that every child is a capable learner. The school is a dynamic middle school serving approximately 610 students in grade 6 to 8. Requirements

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• Provide a police information check, including Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Provide a satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services.
• Provide proof of photo identification.
• Provide documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee’s legal name.

Nice To Haves

• Have a background in Math and/or Science.
• Previous experience in math intervention.
