About The Position
Huntington Learning Center is seeking to hire multiple Part-Time Teachers/Tutors specializing in Math and SAT/ACT Exam Prep. Since 1977, Huntington Learning Center has been a leader in the tutoring and test prep industry, known for its individualized instructional programs and dedicated professionals. This role offers meaningful work in a fast-paced, exciting, and rewarding environment. The position requires subject matter expertise and a professional presence, as the center handles lesson planning, grading, and assessments, allowing the tutor to focus solely on teaching.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Ready to make a difference in the lives of students and their families
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Basic computer skills
- Open to a flexible part-time schedule, both in-center and/or online
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to Huntington students
- Correct each student's work (answers provided)
- Alert supervisor to any concerns and suggest program changes
- Participate in all scheduled paid teacher meetings
- Observe the signing-in and out of each student
