About The Position

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Math 8 Teacher in our Middle School building for a 2026-2027 opening. We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated member of the Middle School team. Candidates can expect: Full curriculum and assessment system from Ready Classroom Mathematics An intervention period where the teacher can plan small group instruction Students to have 90 minutes of math per day, max number of students is 75 To focus instruction around easily accessible student data Close knit school community, great colleagues and leaders Opportunities for leadership. Our School Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is a public charter school, primarily serving students from the city of Rochester. Over 90% of our students identify as an individual of color. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or completed a teacher certification program
• Eligible to work in the US or have a visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• New York State certification
• Experience is preferred but not required
• Out-of-state certification will be considered
• Completion of a Master's Degree
