About The Position

MercyOne is seeking a BC/BE Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join the largest MFM group in Central Iowa. Our established, collaborative team provides a full spectrum of consultative and co-managed care for routine and high-risk pregnancies. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse, high-acuity patient population, including patients with chronic medical conditions, multiple gestations, fetal anomalies, and pregnancies requiring advanced prenatal diagnostics. MercyOne is home to the only double board-certified MFM/geneticist in Iowa and provides state-of-the-art prenatal diagnostics with strong inpatient support, same-day or next-day access for urgent referrals, and a highly collaborative care model. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive MFM care including advanced fetal imaging, prenatal diagnosis, genetic counseling, and diabetes management (T1DM, T2DM, and GDM).
Offer consultative and co-managed care for routine and high-risk pregnancies.
Utilize telehealth for outreach to Mason City, Waterloo, Pella, and Newton.
Care for a diverse, high-acuity patient population including those with chronic medical conditions, multiple gestations, fetal anomalies, and pregnancies requiring advanced prenatal diagnostics.
