Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part Time Clinical Instructors interested in teaching students in our Bachelors of Science in Nursing program. This specific role focuses on Maternal-Child Nursing, a course that emphasizes family-centered approaches to maternal/newborn care, health promotion, wellness, the childbearing cycle (including normal experiences, high-risk factors, complications, and alterations), and additional women's health issues. The clinical instructor implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service. They assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments, plan clinical experiences, and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students. The role involves evaluating student performance, providing feedback, being available for remediation, orienting to agency/clinical policies, developing clinical assignments, and grading student work. The instructor may also teach didactic content under supervision and must keep the course coordinator informed of student and agency issues.
