Requirements

Must hold a Class 3 driver's license with air endorsement
Must possess a valid crane operator certificate (per Work Safe regulations 0HS14.34.1) and be in compliance with Work Safe regulations
Demonstrated safe work habits and adherence to safety regulations and practices.
Driver abstract acceptable to FortisBC standards.
Must be able to pass the FortisBC driving test.
Ability to work independently and take action on own initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to successfully complete the following training; mobile crane equipment, rigging and slinging, WHMIS/TDG.

Nice To Haves

Level A Certification
Level B Certification (with expectation to work towards Level A)

Responsibilities

Loads, unloads, and transports materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Utilizes and operates all material and equipment required in the performance of the job.
Takes inventory, fills orders when assigned and performs administrative duties required of the job.
Is responsible for good housekeeping, stocking and safekeeping of all materials and equipment in compounds and stores, and on stores trucks.
Operates any vehicle which requires up to a Class 3 license with air endorsement.
