About The Position

This Opportunity Utah Testing and Engineering, a subsidiary of Sunrise Engineering is currently initiating a search for a Materials Testing Technician to support our growing organization. Prepare and complete daily written reports. Complete paperwork for each job. Perform inspection and testing of materials in the field and lab in order to verify conformance of construction plans and specifications. Complete various duties at the direction of the Inspector. Requirements

  • 0-3 years of materials testing experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and the ability to maintain company vehicle.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Able to work a project based schedule.
  • This is not a typical 9am-5pm position.

Nice To Haves

  • Desired certifications (or the ability to obtain within 30 days) include: ICC or ACI certifications.
  • Nuclear Gage certification and experience.
  • On the job training will be available.

Responsibilities
