About The Position

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Materials Technician for their inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role supports the Materials Manager in departmental operations, focusing on receiving and verifying deliveries, and maintaining safety data sheets. The hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals with a range of injuries and disorders, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Two years previous storeroom/shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Materials Manager in the departmental operations.
• Receives all deliveries and inspects items for damage or defects.
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of all deliveries and alerts the departments (buyers) of any discrepancies.
• Maintains updated Material Safety Data Sheet manual of items handled through and stocked in Stores.
