About The Position
HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, in affiliation with Select Medical, is seeking a full-time Materials Technician. This role is crucial for supporting the operations of our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, which is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals recovering from various injuries and disorders, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Two years previous storeroom/shipping and receiving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Materials Manager in the departmental operations.
- Receives all deliveries and inspects items for damage or defects.
- Verifies the completeness and accuracy of all deliveries and alerts the departments (buyers) of any discrepancies.
- Maintains an updated Material Safety Data Sheet manual of items handled through and stocked in Stores.
