This position is required to bring correct and sufficient amounts of materials to machines, maintain correct inventories, determine which orders to run at a certain time, control scrap, monitor and identify raw material usage variances. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to anticipate machine needs and develop a routine
  • Effective comm
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic mechanical understanding
  • Comprehension of central resin system

Responsibilities

  • Supply color and resin to assigned machines
  • Maintain grinders
  • Grind or dispose of scrap
  • Operate machine during operator breaks
  • Perform color changes on assigned machines
  • Create production labels
  • Scan out of color
  • Maintain the resin silo board
  • Check color chips for color match
  • Material management - control of scrap and regrind usage
  • Report scrap in detail
  • Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP polices
