About The Position

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and Vibra Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Materials Technician for their facility in Bowling Green, KY. This role operates on a Monday-Friday day shift schedule. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals with a wide range of injuries and disorders, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.

Nice To Haves

• Two years previous storeroom/shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Materials Manager in the departmental operations.
• Receives all deliveries and inspects items for damage or defects.
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of all deliveries and alerts the departments (buyers) of any discrepancies.
• Maintains updated Material Safety Data Sheet manual of items handled through and stocked in Stores.
