About The Position

Comprehensive Logistics Co. Inc. (CLI) is seeking an experienced Materials Technician to join their growing team. As a Materials Technician, you will work under the direction of your immediate supervisor and perform duties related to the receiving and shipping of products. You will be responsible for verifying and organizing distribution of incoming/outgoing products, preparing related documents, maintaining the shipping/receiving area, and managing records of all shipments. A key part of this role involves maintaining the automated inventory management system to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and database records, as well as reconciling various shipping documents with actual shipments.

Requirements

Warehouse experience
Inventory experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft, including Excel
Great communications skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

Verifies and organizes distribution of incoming/outgoing products.
Prepares related documents.
Maintains shipping/receiving area.
Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the warehouse.
Prepare shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels and ensure that all orders are correctly fulfilled.
Reconcile waybill, bill of lading with bill of materials and actual shipment arrivals.
Ensure that the goods delivered to the warehouse are in accordance with approved orders and the associated bill of lading or invoice.
Maintain the automated inventory management system to ensure that actual physical inventory matches the database logical inventory.
Completing all legal formalities, procedures and paper work for receiving/shipping the goods.
