Healthcare Supply Chain starts with many of the skills that any Material Technician might need: the ability to inspect shipments for accuracy, experience maintaining inventory and knowledge of how to stock, pick, and pack. In our Franciscan hospitals, we need these steps with an extra attention to detail – after all, the equipment you’re inspecting, and handling might be used to save someone’s life.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years Storeroom, Receiving or related experience.
Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls and assist end users as needed.
- Maintain clean supply areas.
- Count and restock PAR locations daily to maintain established PAR levels.
- Fill and deliver departmental daily requisitions.
- Perform weekly cycle counts of Central Supply items.
- Receive daily stock orders, restock shelves, rotate supplies, and monitor expiration dates.
