About The Position

Samsung Biologics is looking for a Materials Technician to join the team. This role is responsible for performing manual and administrative duties related to the receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies within a cGMP-compliant warehouse environment.

Requirements

cGMP-compliant warehouse environment experience
Experience with SAP
Knowledge of DOT requirements for transport of materials

Experience with controlled rate freezing equipment

Responsibilities

Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move stock or organize materials
Coordinates and leads training for on the job training of new team members
Revises standard operating procedures
Trained as an L1 Auditor and participate in >25% of department’s L1 Inspections
Performs receipt and quarantine of incoming cGMP raw materials in SAP per quality and safety requirements
Performs raw material control sampling and consumable inspection following appropriate material specifications and input into sample tracking system
Executes the shipping of bulk drug product per cGMP procedures to ensure quality, integrity and on time delivery
Follows DOT requirements for transport of materials
Ensures inventory levels remain accurate in SAP and perform periodic inventory checks
Creates and coordinates the dispensing schedule of controlled raw materials for on time delivery to manufacturing
Performs bulk drug freeze down procedures including use of controlled rate freezing equipment
