About The Position

Material Team Lead at Performance Seats is a leadership role within the company's supply chain or materials management function, responsible for overseeing the procurement, planning, and coordination of materials needed for production or service operations. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and materials planning.
  • Experience in procurement, inventory control, or logistics within manufacturing or automotive environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP or materials management software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide a team or work closely with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain material plans to meet production schedules, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, components, and spares.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with Performance Seat's quality and safety standards.
  • Work with logistics teams to manage inbound/outbound material flows, reduce lead times, and minimize stockouts or overstocking.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to align material requirements with product development and manufacturing needs.
  • Monitor material usage, track performance metrics, and provide reports to management for decision-making.
  • Address supply chain disruptions, shortages, or quality issues promptly to maintain production continuity.
