About The Position

The Materials Supply Tech works in the Supply Chain - Distribution department under the direction of Management. The role supports the reception and distribution of equipment and supplies in the warehouse and par level areas by receiving, checking, stocking, delivering, and picking up items; conducting inventories; and filling internal supply requisitions. The position also performs related duties and other assignments as directed.

Requirements

High school education or GED.
One to two months of on-the-job training and orientation.
Two to three years of experience in the same or a similar field preferred.
No licensure required.

Responsibilities

Receive, deliver, check, and stock equipment and supplies in the warehouse and par level areas.
Check delivered equipment and supplies for order completeness, damage, and accuracy; note discrepancies and inform appropriate personnel.
Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies from appropriate departments, and pack and unpack items.
Stock and rotate inventory, monitor expiration dates, and report low-stock items or items that may expire before use.
Conduct inventories and compile related reports in the warehouse and par level areas.
Fill internal supply requisitions from departments and count and fill par level areas.
Run statistics and routine orders through the materials management system as directed.
Apply charge-label stickers to products.
Answer the telephone as needed.
Complete special assignments, assist others, and perform other duties as assigned.
