Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field completed within the last 12 months.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, business, engineering, or related disciplines gained through academic coursework, internships, or project experience.
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment.
  • Uses established procedures and processes to solve routine problems.
  • Gathers and analyzes data to identify trends, draw conclusions, and recommend solutions.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of commodity and supplier management strategies under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in maintaining supplier agreements and related documentation that support business relationships between Applied Materials and its supply base.
  • Participate in Product Lifecycle Management (PLC) processes to ensure alignment with sourcing and commodity plans.
  • Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and disengagement activities as required.
  • Analyze supplier, market, and spend data to support sourcing decisions and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and business analyses to support supplier management initiatives and reviews.
