Requirements
- Experience in developing, directing, and coordinating material planning activities.
- Experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring a team.

- Experience in ensuring inventory level and turn goals are achieved.
- Experience in reducing back orders and enhancing customer service.
- Experience in meeting with Senior Management to obtain strategic information.
- Experience in modifying forecasts for historical and environmental events.
- Experience in working closely with different departments to develop and maintain accurate forecasts.
- Experience in holding cross-functional meetings to review Supply and Demand plans.
- Experience in reviewing issues and making recommendations regarding long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, current forecasts, and backlog.
Responsibilities
- Developing, directing and coordinating material planning activities.
- Enhancing customer service levels by balancing supply and demand.
- Directing the team in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning.
- Managing, coaching and mentoring a team, working with the team on continuous development and performance management.
- Directing activities of Planners to ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service.
- Meeting with Senior Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast.
- Working with the team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events.
- Working closely with different departments to accurately develop and maintain an accurate forecast.
- Holding cross-functional meetings to review the Supply and Demand plan.
- Reviewing issues and making recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog.
