About The Position

This role is a mid-level materials planning position focused on production support, material flow, scheduling, and supplier coordination. We provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in material planning, inventory control, production scheduling, logistics, purchasing, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support; OR three (3) years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience using an ERP/MRP system (SAP, Oracle, or similar) to support material planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and order fulfillment.
  • Ability to analyze inventory levels, material shortages, supplier delivery performance, and production requirements to support manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business systems used for planning, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and Supplier teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of experience in material planning, production scheduling, inventory control, or manufacturing operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing, supplier scheduling, and production planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently resolve material shortages, supplier constraints, and production disruptions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
  • Experience developing reports, analyzing data trends, and providing recommendations to improve material flow and inventory performance.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, efficiency, or business outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the flow of materials from receiving and warehouse operations to production.
  • Develop and maintain raw material and production schedules to support manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage supplier lead times and delivery schedules to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to align material availability with production demands.
