This includes Raw materials, supplies and MRO planning, working together to ensure operational excellence, supplier performance, and inventory management aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in (B.B.A.) Business Administration, or (B.S.) in Engineering, or related field with eight (8) to ten (10) of experience in manufacturing operations, warehouse, planning or logistics field.
  • APICS Certification highly preferred.
  • Excellent supervisory and communication skills; excellent knowledge of local and federal regulations.
  • Experience with use of MRP systems.
  • Ability to analyze complex business trade-offs and solve problems innovatively
  • Proficiency in presenting ideas and communicating effectively across diverse audiences
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Manage the activities of buyers and participate in cross-location commodity teams, including contract negotiations, supply agreements, and confidentiality agreements
  • Review supplier proposals, negotiate pricing, select vendors, and monitor performance to ensure optimal sourcing decisions
  • Oversee raw material inventory levels to meet operational and business goals
  • Purchase raw materials, supplies, and services in compliance with company policies, quality standards, and cost objectives
  • Provide suppliers with forecasts and demand schedules to ensure alignment with organizational requirements
  • Analyze supplier quotations and proposals, identify alternatives, and select the most effective sourcing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with inventory and freight policies to support financial and operational targets
  • Drive long-term strategic initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, cash flow improvement, and business performance
