Requirements

• High school graduate preferred.
• Previous experience in stock and distribution procedures preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• Steel-toes shoes
• Retractable utility knife
• Work gloves

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming supplies and stores them appropriately, rotating stock to minimize outdates.
• Distributes supplies ordered by departments.
• Follows up on back orders.
• Performs weekly collection and shipping of reprocessed materials.
• Identifies changes in utilization patterns and collaborates with the Purchasing Agent and Manager on min/max level changes or elimination of products.
• Organizes the storeroom for efficient location of supplies.
• Keeps the storeroom/dock neat and clean.
• Removes outdated products from storerooms.
• Utilizes the electronic system to update stock.
• Completes Blind Receiving Report.
• Updates receiving and stock issues daily.
• Matches receiving reports to purchase orders.
• Maintains Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Performs filing, typing, and ordering as needed.
• Assists with weekly cycle counts.
• Assists with daily duties.
• Serves as back-up support to the Purchasing Inventory Specialist.
