About The Position

Trios Health, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Materials Management Distribution Technician. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory, ensuring timely delivery of supplies, and providing excellent customer service within the healthcare setting. The technician will be responsible for issuing medical and surgical supplies, shipping and receiving, delivering supplies, cleaning and delivering patient care equipment, customer service, and inventory control. The position reports to the Director of Materials Management.

Requirements

• Minimum Education High School Diploma Required.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Licenses: Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

• Certifications: Healthcare Materials Management Certification preferred.
• Minimum Work Experience 1-3 years experience in Materials Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers and records all orders from serviced areas.
• Fills stores requisitions and delivers supplies to ordering department.
• Alerts buyer to potential stock out situations.
• Charge supplies to various departments.
• Labels Patient Chargeable supplies.
• Keeps storeroom clean and orderly.
• Checks all areas on Par Level System and the storeroom for outdated supplies.
• Performs additional duties, as assigned.
