About The Position

Trios Health, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is hiring a PRN Materials Management Distribution Technician to support materials management and patient care. The technician issues medical and surgical supplies from inventory, handles shipping and receiving, delivers supplies, cleans and delivers patient care equipment, provides customer service, and supports inventory control. The position reports to the Director, Materials Management.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1–3 years of materials management experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare Materials Management Certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of materials management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and record orders from serviced areas.
• Fill storeroom requisitions and deliver supplies to the ordering department.
• Alert the buyer to potential stock-out situations.
• Charge supplies to various departments.
• Label patient-chargeable supplies.
• Keep the storeroom clean and orderly.
• Check areas on the Par Level System and the storeroom for outdated supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
