About The Position

We are hiring a Materials Management Associate for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Materials Management Associate - Receiving, you will be responsible for working as a member on our Core Print Solutions team and will be eligible for $2,500 signing bonus upon being in the role for 90 days. Hours of Work – Eagan, Minnesota 2nd shift – 2:30pm – 10:30pm Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts. In this opportunity as a Materials Management Associate, you will be responsible for: Driving a powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, or trailer hitch, to safely push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. Unloading trucks and boxcars, performing goods receipts, cycle counting, and order delivery. Utilizing ERP (SAP) and/or radio frequency (RF) equipment to obtain information or enter transactions regarding material/product movement activities. Actively participating in the company safety program to ensure compliance and contribute to safety culture. Providing data to internal departments as requested. Meeting or exceeding established quality and productivity standards utilizing standard work procedures. Implementing, performing and sustaining housekeeping procedures to maintain work area and equipment. Recommending and implementing process improvements. Participating in project teams as needed. Other duties as apparent or assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as load tags, purchase orders, safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Work history demonstrating good work attendance.
  • Basic computer skills, knowledge of SAP preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Forklift certification preferred--will train non-certified applicants according to the latest OSHA rules through classroom and behind the wheel instructions.
