About The Position

As a Materials Management Analyst Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing materials management processes to ensure efficient supply chain operations. You will analyze inventory data, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of materials planning and control activities. You will work out of our Geneva, OH or our Houston, TX location on an Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company's bottom line by reducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow of materials for production. Your proactive approach to materials management contributes significantly to meeting production deadlines, enhancing overall business resilience, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in materials management, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems and advanced planning tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Data Visualization needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge of Kinaxis Rapid Response will be appreciated.
  • Prior knowledge of Safety Stock, Weeks on hand, Supply settings, MRP Material Master knowledge.
  • CPIM or similar supply chain certification.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute integrated material, production, assembly, and test plans aligned with demand, backlog, and AOP targets.
  • Analyze material requirements and ensure timely availability of components and resources to support production and testing schedules.
  • Maintain material master data accuracy, planning parameters, and ERP/SAP system integrity.
  • Support PFEP, stocking, and replenishment strategies (push/pull) to optimize inventory and service levels.
  • Monitor production, assembly, and test execution to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve material constraints, production issues, recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Strategic Sourcing, and Commodity Management on NPI, transitions, and design changes.
  • Analyze MOQ, EOQ, and lot-sizing parameters and work with sourcing teams to resolve variances.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives across materials and operations.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and metrics related to materials status, production performance, and schedule adherence.
  • Provide process guidance and training support to planning, assembly, and test personnel as needed.
