Phoenix National Labs in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Laboratory Technician to test metals, plastics, rubbers, ceramics and other materials as well as support nondestructive testing and metallurgical services. This is a permanent job typically working 40-50 hours per week. Local candidates and those willing to relo to Tempe, AZ, at their own expense encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • A two- or four-year Engineering Technology Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Requires relo to Tempe, AZ for non-local candidates.
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
