As a Process Integration and Yield Technician, you will play a vital role in driving product quality and manufacturing excellence within Intel's cutting-edge semiconductor production environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of experience or AA/AS degree with 1+ years of experience.
  • Experience in tools such as Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Focused Ion Beam (FIB).
  • Experience in failure analysis, fault isolation, or yield improvement techniques.

  • Strong capability to interpret data and execute lot dispositions based on defect, parametric, and end-of-line analyses.
  • Exposure to engineering tests and experimental research in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Ability to communicate findings effectively across teams and contribute to process optimization strategies.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering quality-driven behaviors within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and technical lab analysis to identify and interpret defects causing yield loss.
  • Conduct electrical validation, fault isolation, and identify physical defects tied to electrical failures.
  • Document findings and communicate results effectively to failure analysis peers and managers.
  • Audit processes and provide guidance to peers to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct lab analysis to support research related to integration, process, and yield.
  • Perform failure analysis, prepare samples, and utilize tools such as xSEM and FIB for detailed architectural imaging.
  • Ensure continuous evaluation and improvement of quality standards through efforts such as Stop the Job (STJ).
  • Provide training and consultation to peers to strengthen team capability and foster operational excellence.
