Materials Handler
About The Position
The Materials Handler will be responsible for various warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, goods receipt, documentation, issue out, and escalations/resolutions. This role requires the ability to evaluate current operational processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions to improve overall operational readiness. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high velocity environment and be able to track multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong continuous improvement skills utilizing lean methodologies are essential. Experience with common ERP or WMS systems is required, as is forklift driver experience. Dangerous Goods handling experience is a plus.
Requirements
- 1-3 years relevant experience in warehouse operations
- Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, goods receipt, documentation, issue out, escalations/resolutions
- Experience executing operations in a high velocity environment
- Experience in a common ERP or WMS systems, such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Forklift driver experience
- High school diploma required
Nice To Haves
- High volume, automotive or start-up experience strongly preferred
- Dangerous Goods handling experience a plus
- Higher education a plus
