Idaho Power — located in vibrant McCall, Idaho — is looking for a seasonal Materials Handler to join our Supply Chain team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does a Materials Handler do for us? With limited supervision, they receive, store, retrieve, and issue electrical utility materials, tools, supplies, and equipment. Additional duties include: Using a computerized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to accurately record all materials movement transactions Developing and maintaining indoor and outdoor storage areas Maintaining organization, cleanliness and 5S Standards within facility and daily workspace Ensuring a safe working environment through regular safety inspections and cleaning and maintenance of all storage and work areas and equipment Working in a team-oriented environment with high focus on customer satisfaction Performing work in both a warehouse and yard environment, which involves working with chemicals, equipment, hand and power tools, and material that requires special handling, storage, and packaging due to exposure to potential environmental and safety hazards In addition to the meaningful work we do, we offer work-life balance, competitive pay, and both a 401k employer-match and a pension plan, making Idaho Power one of the best employers in the state.
